Thrive Motorcycles

Got the chance to visit Thrive Motorcycles at Kemang Timur and checking out some of their current project....
Currently they're workin on some restoration project, including a Thunderbolt, and a Boat Tail ironhead. They also got some custom project in progress, something like this Meguro 650..

The interesting part about this particular shop is that the boys who's running it came from designer background. It really shows in the shop's and the bikes overall look.

If you've got some spare time, don't hesitate to come and visit the shop, it located at Jl. Kemang Timur, right next to Coffeewar Coffee Shop. You might come up with a plan for your next build...hahaha.

Almost 40 hrs in Sin City

So, last weekend SSMC family (me, Guita, Rizky and Nadya) went for a quick trip to Sin City. It was supposedly for the canceled Foo Fighters concert. Well, there's no FOO concert, but we sure had a one helluva times. I was never expect to experience Singapore's finest custom culture scene in merely 38 hours...yet, it was exactly what happened that night.

First we meet up with Ray, our fellow Greaser's Temple contributor, he's a super nice skater/grease monkey from Brunei. Ray was there for the Foo concert as well. Then we headed out to Japy's Wheels & Wiener Bar and Diner. Also finally got to meet up Kunglat of Warpigs MC. The place is owned by Japy a tattoo artist and member/founder of Warpigs MC. Those guys are all around nice geezers...it's a must visit place in S'pore!!
We also accidentally found this tiny shop/garage named Rollas/Rockomp. It was located near our hotel in Little India. The shop was run by Gary and Derek, they're ex HD SG dealership guys, just like me and Rizky. They done custom bikes, fixed gear, BMX and beyond..pretty much anything on wheels. Superkool guys with positive vibes..they fixed and customize bikes in their tiny shop...

They also got some neat stuff for sale at the back, apparels and parts..that's where I found this deck..( and it's not for sale). Next time you're in Sin City, make sure you swing by to Rollas.

It's always good to travel around and meet friends and families with similar passion...next time I went to Sin City, I know exactly where I wanna go...
